What methods can I use to pay my debt?

You can pay your debt by credit/debit card, ACH, money order, check or cash in person.

Am I able to control which debts my payment is applied to?

Yes. You may have more than one debt owed. If you do not specify, payment is applied to the oldest debt.

What if I cannot pay my debt off all at once?

You can set up a payment plan by calling our agency at 800-747-2302 or you can set up a payment plan online by visiting www.payffr.com.

What details are required to log in and make a payment?

You must provide three out of four pieces of information: first name, last name, agency account number, and date of birth.

What is a credit score?

A credit score is a statistical number that evaluates a consumer’s creditworthiness and is based on credit history. Lenders use credit scores to evaluate the probability that an individual will repay his or her debts. A person’s credit score ranges from 300 to 850, and the higher the score, the more financially trustworthy a person is considered to be.

Can a debt collector report my debt to a credit reporting company?

Yes.

Can medical debt be reported to a credit reporting company?

Yes, medical debt can be reported to the credit bureaus if the debt is over $500 and over 365 days from the delinquency date.

What if I am unable to pay right now?

Call 800-747-2302 to discuss a delayed date to pay. Our collection specialists are here to help set up a payment plan that works for you.

How do I know if my insurance has been billed for my debt?

  1. Call your insurance company and ask if a claim has been filed for your date of service.
  2. If a claim has not been filed, call the provider to ensure they have your insurance information and whether a claim will be filed.
  3. If so, ask if the provider is in network or out of network with your insurance. That will help determine if you are responsible for a portion of the balance.
  4. Balances that come to collections may be due to the provider being out of network, co-pays, deductibles, or co-insurance.

What if I just filed for bankruptcy but I have an outstanding debt?

Call or write to us with your attorney information and we will note the account and reach out accordingly.

I have an attorney representing me. What information does FFR, Inc need to communicate with my attorney on my behalf?

We will need a letter of representation, contact information and signed patient medical release (if applicable).

Why am I in collections if I never received a bill from my provider?

  1. It could be that the provider does not have updated contact information for you.
  2. Please call 800-747-2302 or email web@ffrollects.com to obtain more information.

What if I don’t think I owe the debt?

  1. Please call us at 800-747-2302 to investigate the claim.
  2. You may dispute the debt in writing and mail to:

    *Please provide an explanation as to why you do not feel you owe the debt.

Can I pay someone else’s debt for them?

Yes, we can take a payment but cannot discuss the details of the debt without the consumer’s permission.

Are debt collectors allowed to contact me at any time or place?

  1. No. The law limits how and when a debt collector may contact you.
  2. Collectors cannot contact you before 8am or after 9pm (in your time zone) (unless you agree to it)
  3. They can’t contact you at work if you tell them that you can’t receive calls at your place of employment.
  4. They can’t call you more than 7 times within 7 days. If you have a conversation about the debt, they cannot contact you for a minimum of 7 days without your permission.
  5. They can call, email, send letters and send text messages to collect a debt.

When should I hire a collection agency?

If you find that your accounts receivable are building up and you do not have the staff or time to collect these past-due accounts, that is when a collection agency can become your partner in recovering your accounts receivable.

When is the best time to send accounts to a collection agency?

The best time to send accounts to a collection agency is between 90-120 days after trying to collect the debt yourself.

How much do your services cost?

1. FFR, Inc. has a strict, “no collections, no charge” policy.

2. FFR, Inc. will collect a contingency based flat fee on debts collected.

Do you work with billing companies?

Yes, we work with multiple billing companies, however, a Working Agreement must be completed for each individual client.

We attempt to collect debts by mail, email, phone, and text messages.

How do I get credentials for the online portal?

All contracted clients are assigned credentials to access the Client Access Portal upon receipt of the signed Working Agreement. If you have additional users you would like to gain access, you can contact our Client Services Team at 508-206-881 or clientservices@ffrcollects.com. Your username is always your first initial and last name (all lowercase).

How do I access the online portal?

Visit our homepage at www.ffrcollects.com , click CLIENT LOGIN, and enter your credentials.

How do I upload my accounts?

1. You can enter accounts manually through the client access portal Please click HERE for instructions.

2. You can email your account placement form to Client Services at clientservices@ffrcollects.com.

3. You can send via SFTP (please contact Client Services for more information)

What if a debtor makes a payment to me?

  1. It is very important that you notify the Client Services Team immediately should you receive a payment directly from a consumer. Without knowledge of payment, we will continue our collection efforts and credit reporting. For the protection of the consumer, please notify us within no more than 3 business days.
  2. You have the option to either record the payment through our 24/7 Client Access Portal or contact the Client Services Team directly at

How do I pay my invoice?

  1. Invoices can be paid by ACH or check. Checks may be mailed to:

What type of reporting do you offer?

  1. We provide Full House and Actuary reports on a monthly basis. Clients can also download full-house reports directly from the Client Portal at any time 
  2. Upon request we provide History Analysis by Assignment, Liquidation Rate reports and custom reports. Contact Client Services to receive these reports.

Can you collect in my state?

We are licensed nationally. Please call our Sales Department at 508-231-9303 or email LearnMore@ffrcollects.com to confirm that we operate in your state.
